Midland Air Service Experts was delighted to sponsor the Midlands Ride for Kids last month. This is the second year that Midland Air has raised money for this remarkable event that gives all the proceeds to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the leading nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The donations fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial aid for families.
Midland Air Service Experts donated $1000 to this incredible cause and the nationwide event has gathered over half-a-million dollars. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been involved in the event since 2014 and her dad’s motorcycle group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids each year.
“My dad’s riding club participates every year because they can have a blast and ride motorcycles, all for this wonderful cause.” Check out Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The philanthropic motorcycle riders may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts isn’t as into the riding part of the event. “We just do it to help the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air looks forward to being involved in their community and sponsoring great events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To discover more about how you can get involved and help the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, go to their site.
